Don't often see a trans-Tasman netball scoreline like that. A lot of history made tonight in Waitakare. NZ's biggest winning margin over Oz (previously 19). Irene van Dyke became the most capped player of all time (129) edging past England's Kenra Lowe. And skipper, Liz Ellis, became the most capped Ozzy player in history (105) overtaking legendary goal shooter and former team-mate Vicki Wilson, before she got injured in the 1st quarter. Vili Davu also collected her 100th cap tonight (and had a blinder!) What a hiding! Mmmm! Delectable!
UPDATE: Liz Ellis has torn her Anterior Cruciate Ligament (whatever that is) and will miss their tour of Jamaica.
